Actor Gong Yoo recorded his first take with fans in Yokohama.

On the 4th, Gong Yoo kicked off the "2026 Gong Yoo Asia Fan Meeting Tour 'The Long Take'" at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Yokohama, Japan. The event, held for a capacity of 5,000 seats, sold out immediately after ticket sales opened. Even the restricted-view seats, which were additionally released due to fan requests, quickly sold out, demonstrating the high level of interest from local fans toward Gong Yoo.

As this marked the beginning of his first Asia fan meeting tour since his debut, the event was structured as an opportunity to share his journey with fans, ranging from his early career and representative works to upcoming projects he plans to unveil in the future.

First, Gong Yoo revisited his representative works, starting with "School 4," followed by "Coffee Prince," "Train to Busan," "Goblin," and "Squid Game," sharing memories of those times with the fans. He then spent a fun time playing games and quizzes with them, and responded to their love by giving away gifts he had personally prepared through a lucky draw. Additionally, he filled out the performance with heartfelt renditions of Han Roro's "0+0" and John Park's "That Song," delivered in his clear voice.

Finally, Gong Yoo went down into the audience to make eye contact with fans and exchange greetings directly. He stated, "I was deeply moved beyond words through today's performance. I am truly grateful that you allowed me to feel these emotions. I also enjoyed the time spent together immensely and intend to cherish it as a precious memory." He continued, "The reason I have been able to work as an actor until now is thanks to the sincere affection and support you have shown me over the years. I arranged this event today to repay that love in some small way. Thank you for coming to meet me," expressing his sincerity.

Having taken the first step of his Asia fan meeting tour in Yokohama, Gong Yoo is scheduled to visit five Asian cities next, recording precious takes with fans in each city.

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo's Seoul fan meeting performance will be held on November 28 at the Grand Auditorium of Yonsei University's Shinchon Campus.
