Soon-ja (hereinafter a pseudonym) from Season 31 of "I Am Solo" opened up about her inner thoughts on the occasion of her birthday.

On the 13th, Soon-ja shared a message of gratitude through her personal account, stating, "It was a birthday I welcomed while being busy in various ways and feeling a bit unsettled with many thoughts swirling around, but thanks to everyone, I spent a truly warm and affectionate day."

The photos captured Soon-ja visiting elegant restaurants and cafes with her boyfriend, Kyung-su, for her birthday. Soon-ja enjoyed a happy time together with Kyung-su. Additionally, Soon-ja also revealed the bouquet of flowers she received as a birthday gift.

Soon-ja stated, "I will deeply cherish the congratulations and affectionate sentiments you have sent. Thank you all."

Meanwhile, Soon-ja and Kyung-su formed a connection in Season 31 of the dating reality show "I Am Solo," which aired on ENA and SBS Plus and concluded last May, and developed into a real-life couple.

Season 31 was one of the seasons that garnered significant attention due to controversies over backbiting and bullying during its broadcast. The controversy erupted after footage showed roommates Ok-soon, Young-suk, and Jung-hee discussing Soon-ja, which Soon-ja happened to overhear from another room, revealing her distress.

Some viewers pointed out that the trio of roommates may have been slandering Soon-ja. In response, Ok-soon, Young-suk, and Jung-hee expressed their apology regarding the controversy through a live broadcast by "I Am Solo" production company Village Chief Entertainment, held the day after the show's finale.
