Min-wook, a member of the idol group CLOSE YOUR EYES, has become the star of an advertisement on the electronic billboard at Hapjeong Station.

The K-pop schedule app 'blip' announced on the 19th that CLOSE YOUR EYES' Min-wook's birthday commemorative support project achieved a final completion rate of 100.97%, confirming the broadcast of an offline advertisement.

This project was carried out for about one month, from August 24 to September 23, to commemorate Min-wook's birthday. With the voluntary and active participation of CLOSE YOUR EYES' fandom 'Closer,' it exceeded the target, directly translating fans' online support into tangible offline backing.

In particular, this billboard advertisement adds significance by demonstrating that the special bond between the artist and the fandom can be confirmed even in offline spaces.

After winning first place with his new song 'Drop That!' on KBS2's 'Music Bank,' which aired on the 9th, Min-wook expressed his deep love for fans, saying, "Thanks to Closer, I am feeling more than ever what it means to be loved and how happy that is." Following the honor of winning first place on a music show, he has been blessed with a double celebration as the birthday congratulatory advertisement arranged directly by fans was also realized.

This birthday congratulatory advertisement, conducted as a reward for achieving the goal, will be broadcast through the Seoul Hapjeong Station CM board for about 15 days, from the 16th to the 30th. As the congratulatory message is displayed at a major hub station where foot traffic is concentrated, it is expected to provide fans with a meaningful offline commemorative space.

Blip support can be participated in via the Blip app or website. Blip plans to expand support for meaningful anniversaries for fans, such as various artists' birthdays and debut days, broadening opportunities for fans to directly celebrate and cheer for special moments related to their favorite artist.
