Jung Jae-hyung shared his thoughts on being "unemployed."

The production press conference for KBS 2TV's new variety show "Unemployed Lee Sedol" was held in the public hall of the KBS Annex in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 22nd. Director Lee Myung-seop, former world-class Go player Lee Sedol, comedian Jang Do-yeon, and singer Jung Jae-hyung, among others, attended.

"Unemployed Lee Sedol" is a real-analog survival story about Lee Sedol, who achieved the sole victory as In Ryu (CEO) in his 2016 match against AI (artificial intelligence) AlphaGo before leaving the Go world. Ten years after the match of the century, he has put down the Go board and sets out to find a second life as a "voluntary unemployed person" and a "job seeker."

On this day, Jung Jae-hyung was asked what he thought about being "'Unemployed Jung Jae-hyung,'" exactly like the program's title.

In response, he candidly shared, "I usually think of myself as an 'intermittent unemployed person.' In fact, aren't we all unemployed when we're not working? And don't we all fear being unemployed? I wouldn't know what to do if I truly became unemployed. Wouldn't I be unable to make music anymore? However, I don't want to open a restaurant."

The first episode of "Unemployed Lee Sedol" will air at 8:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
