Actress Han Hye-jin and variety show star Heo Kyung-hwan have joined forces as the MCs for 'Proud Dog,' a variety show where owners brag about their pets.

TV Chosun's new variety program, 'Proud Dog,' features celebrity dog owners appearing alongside their pets to showcase their unique charms. The show presents a lighthearted "role reversal" bragging war in which star owners who exclaim, "My dog is the best!" shine a spotlight on their distinctive pets.

According to the production team on the 22nd, Han Hye-jin and Heo Kyung-hwan will make their first appearance together as MCs for 'Proud Dog.' Actress Han Hye-jin, known for her warm empathy and sharp wit, and Heo Kyung-hwan, who continues his rising popularity with his smooth humor and quick thinking, will lend support to the star owners' endless bragging. The two will add witty commentary to the pride-driven bragging contests among star owners and vividly convey the unpredictable antics of their pets.

In particular, after the first recording session, the two shared a unique impression, stating, "The owners' bragging about their own 'babies' got so heated that the recording nearly stalled at times," adding, "It feels less like a dog show and more like an owner show."

Above all, a key point to watch in 'Proud Dog' is seeing stars who usually command attention go out of their way to make their pets stand out on this day. The star owners' struggles to win over their pets' hearts and the unexpectedly perfect chemistry that erupts at unexpected moments provide laughter. In addition, the show reveals a new side of the stars by sharing special stories of how they became family with their pets, their daily life together, their affection for one another, and their surprising charms.

Furthermore, genius dogs from across the country make appearances that capture attention. These genius dogs dash around on skateboards, handle restaurant serving and grocery store errands, and even read Hangul and numbers while distinguishing money, delivering a fresh shock with their incredible talents.

The production team stated, "In an era of 15 million pet owners, we will present the uncontainable affection bombardment show of stars who are more serious about bragging about their pets than about broadcasting," adding, "Please look forward to discovering new sides of the stars through their pets and the special chemistry where they understand each other even without speaking."

The first episode of 'Proud Dog' will air on November 11.
