Ko Young-wook, a former member of the mixed-gender group Rurra, indirectly criticized F.I.N.A.L., which has announced its full-member comeback after 21 years.

On the 25th, Ko shared an article related to F.I.N.A.L.'s reunion and stated, "Previously, MBC's 'Come to Play' was planning a special feature on popular singers of the 90s. At that time, I was the only one from Rurra active in broadcasting, so they reached out to me. However, when my manager told me that Clon and R.ef were also appearing, I immediately declined." He added, "I have an innate aversion to seeing them repeat their old stories about boasting of their past popularity, such as how well they had done and how they used helicopters to travel to events."

He continued, "Compared to those delinquents who keep churning out the past and stepping forward again under any pretext, I find it more pleasant to see the delinquents of that era who did not join in such moves, left their best moments as memories, and are living their lives according to the present." He also noted, "When I see videos of Rurra's performance stages occasionally surfacing, I am truly grateful that I was not part of them."

F.I.N.A.L. officially confirmed its full-member comeback in September last year. This will be the group's first full reunion in approximately 21 years, following their digital single album "Forever Fin.K.L" in 2005.

Meanwhile, Ko Young-wook, who debuted with Rurra in 1994, was indicted on charges of four counts of rape and sexual assault against three minors between July 2010 and December 2012. He was detained and prosecuted in January 2013, and his sentence of two years and six months in prison was finalized by the Supreme Court in December of the same year. He was released upon completion of his sentence in July 2015 and removed the electronic ankle monitor that had been attached to him in July 2018.
