Fluent in Japanese, Jang Keun Suk hosts a Japanese live radio program

Asia’s prince, Jang Keun Suk, will be broadcast live on a Japanese radio program. According to a May 23 report in Sankei Sports, Jang Keun Suk is going to be a DJ on a Nippon Broadcasting radio program All Night Nippon Gold on May 30. He will reach local listeners for two hours with his fluent Japanese.


The late actor Park Yong Ha and Big Bang have hosted the program, but their shows were recorded before airing because because they needed to be translated. This time a translator is going to be on standby in another booth, but Jang will broadcast live on the program by himself if there is no problem


On the program, Jang is going to tell stories about producing his new album, titled Nature Boy, which will be released a day before the broadcast. He’ll also talk about his philosophy of love and his hobbies. A live link-up with listeners is also being considered.


Sankei Sports says, Jang Keun Suk is proficient in Japanese, so he will broadcasting live without a translator, which is unusual. He sometimes has trouble with pronunciation, but he has no problems with everyday conversation, which has allowed him to appear on a variety of talk shows without a translator.


Prior to releasing his new album on May 29, Jank Keun Suk will hold a countdown event with fans who drew lots to participate. The event will take place in Tokyo starting at 11:30 p.m. on May 28. The event will include a miniconcert of songs songs from the album.
