Park Ji-Sung recently hosted a charity soccer match which featured a performance by K-pop star PSY. It was the third such annual event hosted by Park’s JS Foundation. Titled the Samsung Asian Dream Cup for Charity, the match took place on the 23rd at the Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai, China. PSY took to the stage at half-time to perform his hit songs “Gangnam Style” and Gentleman. Two thousand spectators enjoyed the performance.

The British press also showed an interest in PSYs performance. The Daily Mail said, Park Ji-Sungs close friends Patrice Evra and PSY joined forces at the charity football match. PSY electrified the audience with a performance of his world-famous ‘Gangnam Style’ song on the pitch at half-time, backed by a troupe of dancers.

This year’s event included a number of well-known soccer players such as Patrice Evra, Ki Sung Yong, Lee Chung Yong, and Ji Dong Won. Also in attendance were such Korean entertainers as Yu Jae Suk, Kim Jong Guk, Lee Gwang Soo of the popular variety show Running Man and the idol groups Shinee and EXO-M.
