Girl group ‘f(x)’s official 3rd album [Red Light] is getting attention from not only America’s ‘FUSE TV’ but ‘Billboard’ as well.

Well known US’s medium ‘Billboard’ posted an article that was titled “f(x) solidifies brand of quirky, hipster Pop with [Red Light] album” through K pop column corner K-Town in July 8th. They specifically explained about the new album and all of these happenings once again proved ‘f(x)’s global reputation.

‘Billboard’ mentioned “f(x), who topped the billboard ‘K-POP HOT 100′ with official 2nd album [Rum Pum Pum Pum] last year, came back with [Red Light]. They came back to the their fans with an album that is more popular and with unique songs compared to previous albums.”

‘Billboard’ praised the title song [Red Light] by saying “[Red Light] is also a bit reminiscent to “Mr.Mr.” by label mates ‘Girls’ Generation’, whose latest single had an easy-to-follow hook, but had quick, staccato-like ad-libs peppered throughout each section.

They added “Other than [Red Light], the rest of the tracks feature elements of well-crafted, mainstream pop, but with a healthy dose of unique quirk to establish f(x) as the hip alternate to K-pop skeptics.”

In fact, they commented about another song called [MILK] “Milk” opens with cat meows, dog barks and a sample of a gun trigger loading before moving to the rhythmic, Bollywood-inspired production backing the girls’ alien-like harmonies.”

Lastly, Billboard highly praised f(x)’s potential and showed great expectation to tell “It’s not far away that ‘f(x)’ will enter to ‘Billboard’s main album chart of ‘Billboard 200.’f(x) has largely cemented themselves as an independent force, which could make them successful in America’s chart too.”

Meanwhile, ‘f(x)’ is going to appear in various music programs such as KBS 2TV’s [Music Bank] in July 11th, MBC’s [Show Music Core] in July 12th and SBS’s [Ingigayo].
