Lee Joon Gi records a single before completing army service

A spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense recently said that actor Lee Joon Gi recorded his single album during his vacation and they have no problem with it.

On February 13, the spokesperson said, “Lee recorded his single album to return to the show business when he is discharged from military service. Even though he recorded the album during his vacation, it is not against military service regulations.”

The spokesperson added, “Since he will release the album after he completes his military service, the recording will be for profit.”

“It is also okay with us that Lee recorded the album as a soldier during his vacation. We can’t regulate soldiers doing their jobs during their vacations if they are not breaking the law.”

According to Lee’s agency, Lee will complete his army service in March. He recorded his single album on February 10 in Seoul for his fan meeting in Japan.
