According to an announcement by his agency, King Kong Entertainment, Kim Bum has been cast in season 6 of V Love (known as the Chinese version of Gossip Girl) in a special role. He will play Oh Woo Hui, who is the president of a nationwide premium restaurant chain. His character is confident, upright, but doesn’t get along well with other people because of his perfectionistic inclinations.
V Love is a sitcom suggestive of America’s Gossip Girl, and the story is about love and business among young people living in the wealthy city of Shanghai. It will run for six episodes.
Kim will also appear in MBC’s new drama series Fire Goddess Jung E, which will be broadcast in July after the V Love ends.
