G-DRAGON Mesmerizes Australia — Successful Solo Concert After 8 Years
G-DRAGON set Australia ablaze this winter with his passionate and flawless performances, raising the temperature with his artistic firepower.
On July 2 and 3, G-DRAGON held concerts at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, followed by shows at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on July 6 and 7, as part of his “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]”. Over four days, he performed for more than 46,000 Australian fans. This marks his first solo world tour in 8 years, and each concert has drawn attention for showcasing G-DRAGON’s unmatched musicality and artistry.
Incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the tour visually explores the philosophical concept of the Übermensch by Friedrich Nietzsche. Backed by a live band, G-DRAGON delivered rich and intense performances that electrified the audience. For over two hours, he held the stage alone, demonstrating not only his professionalism but also his wide-ranging charm—from seductive to playful—prompting Australian fans to chant "GD" throughout the night.
Adding to the immersive experience, his bold stage outfits matched the theme of each performance—ranging from a signature red rose jacket, a sparkling white long coat, and an ivory suit with a straw fedora, elevating the visual and emotional tone of every song. The highlight for many fans was when G-DRAGON appeared wearing a koala hat, a playful nod to Australia's national animal, which drew thunderous cheers from the audience.
Following successful shows in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, and Macau, G-DRAGON’s sold-out Australian concerts once again reaffirmed his global star power. His tour continues in Taipei (July 11–13) and will then head to Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Hong Kong, as well as Newark, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Paris, completing the third leg of his “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]”.
