BLACKPINK has once again made history in the United States, one of the world's two largest music markets, signaling a powerful start to their North American tour.
On July 12, BLACKPINK held their “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'DEADLINE' IN LOS ANGELES” at SoFi Stadium. Including their second show on July 13 (local time), the group is set to become the first girl group in the world to sell out two consecutive nights at the venue, attracting a combined audience of over 100,000 fans — a new record.
This marked BLACKPINK’s first reunion with North American fans in approximately 2 years and 8 months, and the energy in the stadium was more electric than ever. As the powerful sound of the live band filled the arena, fans erupted in cheers, and BLACKPINK responded with explosive energy, performing a parade of their biggest hits.
Each member then took the stage for standout solo performances.
-
Jisoo captivated the audience with her dreamy and emotional stage presence.
-
Lisa dominated the stage with her charismatic and intense performance.
-
Jennie delivered with bold confidence and an undeniable hip-hop vibe.
-
Rosé heated up the atmosphere with her delicate vocals and vibrant energy.
The show was elevated by YG’s signature high-quality production, with BLACKPINK’s unmatched presence filling every inch of the massive venue. Their upgraded live performance skills and seasoned stage manners delivered overwhelming impact from start to finish. The members freely moved across the stage, engaging passionately with fans throughout the night.
With Los Angeles marking the start of their 7-show, 4-city North American leg, BLACKPINK will now head to Chicago, Toronto, and New York, before taking their tour to major stadiums in Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, on July 11, BLACKPINK released their new digital single “JUMP.” The song quickly climbed to No. 1 on iTunes Song Charts in 60 regions, topped YouTube's worldwide trending and rapidly rising popularity charts, and reached No. 1 on the global daily most popular music videos list, solidifying its worldwide impact.
