Taemi of K-Tigers has joined the globally anticipated project K-Pop Demon Hunters as the martial arts director.

On July 14, K-Tigers stated, "Taemi was in charge of directing all the action sequences in the Netflix animation K-Pop Demon Hunters." A former national Taekwondo athlete and world champion, Taemi showcased the essence of "K-action" through the series’ fight choreography. Although she is currently pursuing an acting career in Hollywood, this marks her first time participating in a global project as a martial arts director.

K-Pop Demon Hunters is receiving praise for its immersive combat scenes, which creatively blend Taekwondo-based kicks, weapon techniques involving swords and spears, along with singing and dancing.

K-Tigers commented, "K-Pop Demon Hunters is a symbolic work in terms of expanding K-culture. Taemi’s deep understanding of Taekwondo and her ability to choreograph action significantly elevated the project’s overall quality. We plan to continue collaborating with global content going forward."

Taemi is currently active as a member of the co-ed group K-TIGERS ZERO and also works as an actress. She appears on the popular SBS variety show Kick a Goal (골때리는 그녀들).

Taemi is also currently cast as the lead in a Hollywood film and is undergoing test shooting. Recently, she appeared in the variety show No Brake Idol: Rainbow18, produced by K-Tigers Entertainment, where she taught Taekwondo self-defense techniques to Go Woo-ri and Jo Hyun-young, providing plenty of laughs.

K-Tigers recently added trot singer and gugak (traditional Korean music) talent Kim Tae-yeon, along with Rainbow18 members Go Woo-ri and Jo Hyun-young, to their roster.
