Rookie girl group AtHeart has knocked on the hearts of global K-pop fans with a music collage film that blends storytelling and music
On July 21, AtHeart released the music collage film for their debut EP “Plot Twist” through their official YouTube channel.
The film is a unique teaser content that combines story elements with highlight snippets from all five tracks on the EP. Opening and closing with a turning music box in a circular narrative structure, the film artistically portrays AtHeart’s emotional journey and growth leading up to their debut, in a stylish and sophisticated way.
Through this music collage film, the group's unpredictable emotions are finally unveiled. Starting with the title track “Plot Twist,” AtHeart shares their growth story through the following tracks: “Dot Dot Dot...” (Excitement), “Knew Me” (Self-assurance), “Good Girl (AtHeart)” (Connection), and “Push Back” (Thrill)
The title track “Plot Twist” captures the moment of embracing unexpected emotions and facing one's true self with honesty, stepping into a “new me.” “Dot Dot Dot...” conveys sincere feelings that don’t need to be spoken aloud, while “Knew Me” expresses confidence in oneself and excitement for what’s to come. “Good Girl (AtHeart)” reflects a sincere desire to get to know someone despite initial awkwardness, and “Push Back” explores growing emotions amid push-and-pull tension.
