BoA Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Release of Japanese Single “Good for U”
Singer BoA has released her new Japanese single “Good for U.”
On August 11, BoA dropped the digital single across various music platforms, while the music video was simultaneously unveiled on the SMTOWN YouTube channel, drawing significant attention.
“Good for U” is characterized by its unforgettable, addictive sound and lyrics that capture the sultry atmosphere of a summer night spent indulging in glamorous, dangerous, and alluring love. The music video was pre-released during the “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” concert at Tokyo Dome last weekend, earning an enthusiastic response from the audience.
Earlier, on May 30—her Japanese debut anniversary—BoA released “Young & Free”, a single she personally wrote and composed. With “Good for U”, her second Japanese single of 2025, she showcases a more mature and fresh musical transformation, gaining strong interest from local fans.
Additionally, on August 4, BoA released her 11th full-length album “Crazier” to commemorate her 25th debut anniversary in Korea. The album encapsulates her musical journey over the years, connecting the emotions and stories she shares with her longtime fan club, Jumping BoA, in a meaningful celebration of her career.
