Singer Sunmi has officially begun the countdown to her comeback by unveiling the title poster for her upcoming single.

On the 11th, Sunmi released the title poster for her digital single BLUE!, set to drop on the 26th, through her official social media channels. In the poster, Sunmi sports a golden bob hairstyle, smoky eye makeup, nude-toned lips, and black nail art, exuding a decadent yet captivating vibe. The dreamy and funky concept marks a bold transformation from her previous work, signaling the return of the “concept master.”

The poster also features the title BLUE! along with the release date, confirming the official start of her comeback countdown. This new single marks Sunmi’s first release in about a year and two months since her June 2024 digital single Balloon in Love, heightening fans’ anticipation.

In her previously released comeback trailer, Sunmi showcased a powerful bass performance. The new poster again features her alongside the bass, amplifying curiosity about the track.

Throughout her career, Sunmi has earned titles such as “concept master” and “Sunmi-pop” with every release — from Gashina, Heroine, Noir, and Lalalay to pporappippam, Tail, and STRANGER — each featuring bold concepts and addictive melodies that have captured listeners’ hearts.

This summer, all eyes are on what fresh version of “Sunmi-pop” the “summer queen” will bring to the stage.
