DAY6 Achieves Sold-Out Status for Two “First-Ever for a Korean Band” Concerts at Goyang Sports Complex
Band DAY6 has sold out all seats for their upcoming solo concerts at Goyang Sports Complex.
On August 30 and 31, DAY6 will kick off their DAY6 10th Anniversary Tour “The DECADE” with two concerts at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Fan club presales for My Day (the fandom name) 5th generation were held on the 8th, followed by general ticket sales on the 11th. Both shows sold out entirely after the general sale opened. These concerts mark the first time in Korean band history that an artist has headlined a solo show at the Goyang Sports Complex, offering fans an expansive and open-air live music experience.
Members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon have steadily grown their concert scale since their debut performance at Yes24 Muv Hall in November 2015, leading up to KSPO DOME in May 2025. In April last year, they drew around 34,000 fans at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium, followed by about 40,000 at Inspire Arena in September, and approximately 38,000 at Gocheok Sky Dome in December—becoming the first K-pop band to perform there. Their KSPO DOME concerts set a record for the largest audience per show, with around 16,000 attendees per night, drawing a total of roughly 96,000 fans over six shows. The Goyang Sports Complex concerts also fulfill the members’ long-held wish to perform a solo show in an outdoor stadium, making anticipation high for the special moments DAY6 and My Day will create together under the open sky.
Meanwhile, DAY6 will release their 4th full-length album The DECADE on September 5 at 6 PM KST. This will be their first studio album in approximately five years and eleven months since their 3rd full album The Book of Us: Entropy, released on October 22, 2019.
