Girl group YOUNG POSSE is kicking off full-scale promotions for their follow-up track.
On the afternoon of the 26th, YOUNG POSSE (Jeong Sun-hye, Wi Yeon-jung, Giana, Do-eun, Han Ji-eun) will appear on SBS funE’s The Show to perform “YSSR”, a song from their fourth EP “Growing Pain pt.1: FREE.”
“YSSR” reflects the group’s determination to confidently show their unique colors in the face of sharp questions and criticism from the world. The title is short for “Yes, Sir”, but in YOUNG POSSE’s case, it conveys a bold and playful attitude — not merely obeying others, but coolly responding with “YSSR! Got a problem?”
The track features straightforward lyrics layered over a powerful drum and bass-driven rage beat, expressing unwavering confidence. While their previous title track “FREESTYLE” showcased their free-spirited and playful charm, “YSSR” promises a more charismatic and commanding performance.
Beyond the music, the styling — which reflects the growth and individuality of these “K-Hip hop sisters” — is a key highlight. Fans can also look forward to the dynamic harmony of five distinct vocal colors and rap, which together bring the song to life.
