Taemin, member of SHINee and a distinguished solo artist, has been announced as part of the lineup for the world’s largest music festival, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Coachella).
According to the lineup revealed on the 16th (local time), Taemin will perform at Coachella on April 11 and 18, 2026. He is the only K-pop male solo artist included, drawing global fans’ attention. Known for his overwhelming stage presence and unique performances, Taemin has earned the title of “legendary solo male idol” and established himself as one of K-pop’s premier performers. With his fluid yet intense choreography and flawless live performance skills, he is expected to showcase his full potential on the global Coachella stage.
On September 13, Taemin released his special digital single Veil. In August, he successfully held his solo fan meeting “2025 TAEMIN FANMEETING [CLASS-MATE] in HANGZHOU” in Hangzhou, China, and recently launched his Japan arena tour “2025 TAEMIN ARENA TOUR ‘Veil’.” These activities highlight his ongoing global influence across Asia.
First launched in 1999, Coachella is the largest music festival in the United States, drawing over 200,000 attendees annually. Featuring the world’s top artists, simply being part of the lineup is proof of global impact. The 2026 Coachella will feature Taemin alongside many world-class pop stars, raising anticipation among fans worldwide.
Meanwhile, Taemin will continue his arena tour across Japan, with scheduled stops in Saga (September 20–21), Shizuoka (October 4–5), Chiba (November 29–30), and Hyogo (December 24–25).
