Singer-actor Park Yoochun, who was expelled from the Korean entertainment industry, has continued to update fans with smiling selfies in Japan.
On the 25th, Park posted in Japanese, “It’s suddenly getting cooler,” along with several photos of himself. In the pictures, he is seen taking selfies on a street in Japan.
Japanese fans responded with comments such as “Don’t catch a cold,” “You look good today too,” and “Osaka is even cooler,” showing their enthusiastic support. Recently, Park Yoochun has been consistently sharing glimpses of his daily life on social media, keeping fans updated.
However, his past controversies remain notable. In 2016, he was listed for failing to pay five types of taxes, including capital gains tax, with total arrears amounting to 409 million KRW (approx. $300,000 USD).
Earlier, in 2019, he was arrested on charges of using methamphetamine and was sentenced to 10 months in prison with two years of probation. At the time, Park had vehemently denied the allegations, holding a high-profile press conference where he declared, “If the charges are true, I will retire from the entertainment industry.” His claims were later revealed to be false.
