Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is set to showcase his limitless potential with his second solo mini-album, ELSE.
On November 6, Cha Eun-woo revealed the official tracklist image for ELSE through his official social media accounts. According to the image, the album includes a total of four tracks: the title track “SATURDAY PREACHER”, along with “Sweet Papaya,” “Selfish,” and “Thinkin’ Bout U.”
Among them, 2AM’s Lim Seul-ong participated in writing lyrics for both Sweet Papaya and SATURDAY PREACHER, while producers imsuho, Nassim, and Dr. Han co-composed the three non-title tracks, enhancing the album’s cohesion and musical depth. The teaser image also drew attention with the use of distinct fonts for each track title, hinting at a wide variety of genres and messages.
The album’s title, ELSE—meaning “the other” or “something different”—represents Cha Eun-woo’s boundless potential and multi-layered spectrum as an artist. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new sides of Cha Eun-woo that will be revealed through the album.
Before enlisting in the military band last July, Cha Eun-woo completed recording all four songs for ELSE, ensuring a smooth musical presence even during his service. Despite his military duties, he continues to connect with global fans through diverse and creative ways.
In particular, the ARS event launched on November 4 at 3:30 p.m. (KST) drew immense attention from both fans and the public. By calling the phone number shared on Cha Eun-woo’s official social media, participants could hear a pre-recorded voice message from him. The event received over 100,000 calls, causing connection delays due to the overwhelming response.
Previously, Cha Eun-woo released his first mini-album ENTITY in February 2024, topping worldwide charts, ranking No. 1 on iTunes in 21 regions, and achieving 210,000 first-week album sales, marking a successful start as a solo artist. He also embarked on an 11-city fan-concert tour, 2024 Just One 10 Minute: Mystery Elevator, and held solo fan meetings “THE ROYAL” in Seoul and Tokyo before enlistment.
Now, 1 year and 7 months later, his second solo album ELSE will be released on November 21 at 1 p.m. (KST) across global music platforms. Pre-orders for the physical album are currently open on various online retailers.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo is also meeting audiences on the big screen, starring as Yeon-min in the film First Ride, now playing in theaters.
