Even two years after its release, “The Astronaut” continues to see a steady increase in streams, demonstrating both the song’s musical quality and the enduring love for Jin’s signature vocal emotion. Jin participated directly in writing the lyrics, and the track paints the sentiment of a “traveler wandering through space” with its delicate pop-rock foundation, warm synth sounds, and spacious choral layers.
