To celebrate BTS member V’s birthday on December 30, extraordinary fan support from around the world has further elevated the atmosphere into a global festival.
V’s Chinese fan club, Baidu V Bar, carried out a large-scale support project by decorating the interiors of China Express Airlines aircraft—including overhead bins, seatback covers, and tray tables—with V’s images, showcasing the immense power of the fandom economy. In addition, a massive event was held at Intime City, a mixed-use complex in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, featuring a 6-meter-tall sculpture of V along with themed photo zones that include music, cartoons, and flower walls, allowing fans to enjoy the celebration together.
The fan club also organized themed album stores and various events across nine cities: Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Nanchang, Nanjing, and Xi’an. Birthday celebration videos for V were broadcast on a large screen at Century Square on Nanjing Road East—often called the “Myeongdong of Shanghai”—as well as on a major screen on Pozi Street in Changsha. In Shenzhen, a birthday video was displayed on a massive 118-meter super-sized billboard, impressing viewers with its overwhelming scale.
