BTS will make their long-awaited return with a full-length album on March 20.
At midnight on the 5th, BTS announced the release of their 5th studio album via the global superfan platform Weverse. The new album will be released on March 20 at 1 PM (KST). This marks their first group album in three years and nine months since the anthology album Proof, released in June 2022. It is also their first full-length studio album in six years and one month since MAP OF THE SOUL : 7, unveiled in February 2020.
The upcoming album will feature a total of 14 tracks. Staying true to their identity as a group that has consistently expressed their thoughts and stories through music since debut, BTS dedicated significant effort to capturing “who BTS is today.” During the second half of 2025, the members focused on album production, collectively shaping the album’s direction while incorporating their individual perspectives into the music.
Each track is deeply infused with the emotions and reflections BTS experienced throughout their journey. The album also conveys heartfelt gratitude toward ARMY, the group’s official fandom, who have long awaited BTS’s return as a complete group. The stories told across all tracks form part of BTS’s ongoing narrative and serve as a message to the fans who have stood by them unwaveringly.
BTS also announced that details of their world tour will be revealed at midnight on January 14, further heightening anticipation for their upcoming activities. This will be their first large-scale tour in approximately four years, following the conclusion of BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE in Las Vegas in April 2022. Even with only the album release date and tour announcement teaser disclosed, global music fans are already showing intense interest.
Meanwhile, as part of their comeback promotions, BTS has launched a new official website (2026bts.com). Additional information regarding the new album and world tour will be released sequentially through the site.
