Rookie boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) is rapidly expanding its global presence.
On the 19th at 9 p.m. KST, ALPHA DRIVE ONE (Rio, Junseo, Arno, Gunwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, Sanghyun) released the dance practice video for “FREAK ALARM,” the title track of their first mini album and debut release, “EUPHORIA,” through their official social media channels.
In the video, the members showcase powerful group choreography built on precise formations and synchronization, highlighting their strong teamwork. Their rookie energy and confidence stand out, while the practice setting reveals meticulous coordination down to perfectly matched footwork, offering a different charm from their previously released music show performances.
Since its release on the 12th, “EUPHORIA” has delivered impressive results on major domestic and international charts. All tracks from the album entered Melon’s TOP100, proving the group’s strong digital performance. The title track “FREAK ALARM” ranked No. 1 on Melon’s Latest Release Chart (weekly) and HOT100 (30-day).
In Japan, the song debuted at No. 1 on LINE Music’s K-pop Top 100, reached the Top 8 on the weekly chart, and remained within the Top 10 of the daily chart for six consecutive days. It also topped Rakuten Music’s real-time rankings, Japan iTunes K-pop Top Songs, and AWA Music’s real-time trending chart, while ranking No. 2 on Spotify Japan’s Viral chart. In China, the album reached No. 1 on QQ Music’s digital album daily chart, firmly establishing the group’s presence in the global music market.
Album sales are also on a strong upward trend. “EUPHORIA” recorded 1.44 million copies in first-week sales, achieving the second-highest debut first-week sales in K-pop history, following ZEROBASEONE. The group became a million-seller at debut.
In addition, the “FREAK ALARM” music video entered YouTube Japan’s Daily Popular Music Video chart for four consecutive days. On the Weekly Popular Music Video chart, it ranked highest among K-pop boy groups, and placed No. 10 on the Trending Music chart, reflecting strong local popularity in Japan.
With momentum continuing both domestically and internationally, ALPHA DRIVE ONE plans to remain active with ongoing debut promotions.
