• Interview with actress Park Eun-bin, who plays the role of Eun-chae-ni in the Netflix original series 'Wonderfuls'

Actress Park Eun-bin shared her thoughts on 'Wonderful 2'.

On the morning of the 22nd, an interview with actress Park Eun-bin, who stars in the Netflix original series 'Wonderfuls', was held at a café in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

'Wonderfuls' is a superpower comic adventure set at the turn of the century in 1999, where residents of a neighborhood named Mojiri, who unexpectedly gain superpowers, struggle to protect the world from villains threatening peace. The series features Park Eun-bin as Eun-chae-ni, along with Cha Eun-woo as Lee Woon-jeong, Choi Tae-hoon as Son Kyung-hoon, Im Sung-jae as Kang Robin, Gimhae-sook, Son Hyun-joo, Bae Na-ra, Jeong Yi-seo, and Choi Yun-ji.

On this day, Park Eun-bin said regarding her criteria for selecting projects, "I have chosen works that appeal to me each time. Of course, I also want to take on roles where I don't have to do much. These days, I feel grateful to have the opportunity to experience various roles and professions as an actress. I want to try various things to avoid burnout."

She added, "In fact, it's a 'challenge,' but I don't think of it as such. I just see it as 'trying something once.' I want to discover what suits me. If viewers enjoy it, I'm glad. If it doesn't suit their taste, I hope they give me another chance." Her playful remark drew laughter.

Park Eun-bin previously collaborated with director Yoo In-sik, who directed 'Wonderfuls,' on the highly acclaimed ENA drama 'Wonderful Lawyer Woo Young-woo' (hereinafter 'Woo Young-woo').

When asked, "If director Yoo In-sik proposes that you participate in 'Woo Young-woo 2,' what would you do?" Park Eun-bin responded, "'Woo Young-woo' is a work filled with love and deep affection, so I feel a strong desire to protect it. I believe that when asked about the reason behind any project, a clear answer is necessary to gain the motivation to move forward. If I cannot convince myself, it might be a bit difficult."

Park Eun-bin also spoke about the sense of relief she feels while portraying various characters. She said, "When I encounter characters who exist in a different space from me, I find it fascinating. As an actress, my goal is to convince the audience that 'I may not be like this, but someone like Eun-chae-ni could exist.' I believe it is the actor's duty to make the character believable. I enjoy the process of creating characters separate from myself. Through the power of the character, I can do things that Park Eun-bin herself cannot, and doesn't that broaden the world?" she shared.

She continued, "Through 'Wonderfuls,' I was able to show a completely noisy and utterly unrefined side." Describing Eun-chae-ni as a character with strong 'self-attraction' that naturally draws people in, she said, "Even without any hierarchy, hearts connect, so we share our feelings. I hope this leaves an indescribable warmth and lingering impression."

She added, "I wanted to be a cat, but I think I ended up being a puppy because of me. When setting Eun-chae-ni's personality, I considered cat-like traits, but it seems I turned into a puppy due to my influence. My preference is for cats, yet people always say I'm like a dog or a rabbit."
