Actors Ryu Seung-ryong and Anders B. Hansen received the Best Actor award in the individual awards category of the International Competition Division at the 21st Seoul Drama Awards.

The 21st Seoul Drama Awards were held on the afternoon of the 2nd at the KBS Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, hosted by actor Kim Nam-gil and MBC announcer Lee Jae-eun.

On this day, actors Ryu Seung-ryong from 'The Deputy Manager Kim' (hereinafter referred to as 'The Deputy Manager Kim') and Anders B. Hansen from 'A Better Man' were named the recipients of the Best Actor award in the individual awards category of the International Competition Division.

Ryu Seung-ryong, who took the stage and formed a heart shape with his hands, stated, "I sincerely welcome those who have come to this beautiful season and to the beautiful Republic of Korea. I was nominated alongside Gary Oldman, so winning feels incredibly unrealistic. Thank you."

He continued, "It was an infinite honor to be part of the long journey of 'The Deputy Manager Kim.' I was able to feel the weight of life and ordinary daily routines. It was a drama that made me realize that what I had previously thought of as merely burdensome when facing life's storms was actually a grateful weight that helped maintain my center."

Anders B. Hansen said, "I am truly grateful. It is an honor just to be nominated alongside such outstanding actors, and it is an even greater honor to have won."

He added, "I cannot fail to mention Gary Oldman, the actor I have respected most for a long time. He is truly a distinctive actor. I also thank the production team."
