Singer Kim Ki-tae choked up when he recalled his late mother.

In the MBC entertainment program "First Place," which aired on the afternoon of the 15th, Kim Ki-tae selected Kim Jin-ho's "Family Photo" and set the stage.

On this day, Kim Ki-tae said, "My parents were not on good terms, so I broke up early when I was young."

"I wanted to put up a family photo of my family behind the stage, but there was a time when the house was on fire, so it all disappeared," he said. And I found out last year that he died after not seeing his mother for nearly 20 years. "I found out while taking off a copy," he confessed, shedding tears.

He continued, "I wanted my mother to visit me. Maybe (my mother) was ill. I'd like to ask why someday. If my relatives watch this broadcast, I hope they can contact me," he said.

Kim Ki-tae confessed that he didn't even know where his mother slept, saying, "I'm late, but I want to go to where my mother is," and Lee Min-jung and Baek Ji-young also shed tears.
