Dynamic Duo member Choi Ja shared a harrowing experience of nearly choking on a squid during a performance.

On the 2nd, a video titled "Gumi, Dynamic Duo, Zzanhanhyeong EP.169: The Broken Tension of an '8N' Generation Member" was released on the YouTube channel 'Zzanbro Shin Dong-yup'.

On that day, Choi Ja recalled an incident that occurred just before a past performance while he was eating squid bossam (boiled pork with vegetables).

Choi Ja stated, "They booked us at a squid bossam restaurant. Since the appearance fee wasn't very high, they told us to eat as much as we wanted, so I was thrilled." He added, "I had to go on stage immediately, but I kept eating until five minutes before my set."

He continued, "The squid just wouldn't go down. While I was rapping, I coughed a little, and the squid came back up." He explained the situation at the time, saying, "I tried to swallow it again, but it went into my airway. My vision went blank for a moment. It really could have been fatal."

Gaeko recalled, "It was Choi Ja's turn, but he wasn't rapping. I thought the microphone might be broken, so I stepped in to rap for him." He added, "Even as we reached the eighth line, he still wasn't doing it, so I looked over and saw that next to the DJ, only the whites of his eyes were visible."

He continued, "It was a real emergency. So we stopped the performance." He shared, "When he coughed, a squid about this size flew out. The audience was shocked."
