Singer Kwon Jin-ah sparked an unexpected controversy over a warm, considerate remark she made to the audience during an outdoor performance.

Kwon attended the closing concert of "Culture Flowing Through Seoul Plaza," held at Seoul Plaza on the 21st, where she heated up the stage by singing her hit songs and others.

However, she found herself in the spotlight after making a spontaneous remark that seemed to indicate she was unaware of the scheduled order for senior singer Heo Gak, who was preparing for his next performance.

The controversial remark came out during her interaction with the audience. Concerned about the health of the audience members staying on-site amid the chilly outdoor weather, Kwon said, "Isn't the flu really going around these days? Let's listen to this quickly and then head home fast. How is it? Nice, right? I think it would be good if you could get back home soon," urging them to leave.

While it was a heartfelt comment born out of concern for the shivering audience, the fact that Heo Gak's finale performance was scheduled immediately after Kwon Jin-ah's stage became the source of the issue.

Some pointed out that she had shown a lack of consideration for her fellow artist who was up next.

Fortunately, Heo Gak, who took over the baton, skillfully defused the situation with his characteristic cheerfulness. Upon taking the stage, Heo said, "I guess they didn't know I was coming up next. They were telling everyone to leave quickly once it was over," brushing it off with a cool smile before joking, "I came up just in case you were worried, but thankfully there are still many of you here," eliciting laughter from the crowd.

Thanks to Heo Gak's witty response, the atmosphere on-site ended warmly, but the debate continues online.

However, voices are growing that indiscriminate speculation and criticism should be avoided, given that the two have been close friends for a long time and it was likely a simple mishap in which Kwon Jin-ah did not accurately know the next order of performance.
