Actor Jang Geun-seok proved his exceptional discernment.

Jang Geun-seok served as a member of the judging panel 'Five Stars' on ENA's 'Directors Arena,' which aired on the 29th of last month.

Tasked with judging the 'Complete a 90-Second Teaser' mission, Jang Geun-seok demonstrated an eye for detail. Pointing out the absence of subtitles in actor Choi Gwi-hwa's work, which appeared as a director, he offered a sharp critique: "In short-form content where subtitles are naturally expected, it was regrettable that the opportunity to understand and absorb the message more quickly was missed."

Meanwhile, Jang Geun-seok played the role of a mood-maker by lavishing praise on directors who showcased innovative planning. He highly commended director Jung Ju's work, which caught attention with fresh material, stating, "Among the videos I watched today, this one conveyed its message most simply and effectively."

He also praised director Ha Soo-ho's work, which differentiated itself through 'purity,' saying, "A stimulation that is not stimulating felt fresher," and added, "Even if I had watched it in bed, I would have smiled contentedly as a father."

Jang Geun-seok also displayed smooth hosting skills. With a sharp gaze, he continued the tense announcement of survivors. When the directors' rankings were overturned due to viewer watch time, he noted, "It can be said that the absolute criterion for ranking evaluation is who captured people's attention for the longest time," thereby hitting the core point and further elevating the program's immersion.
