Musical actor Choi Jeong-won revealed that he took the stage even on the day his mother passed away.

On the morning of the 7th, Choi Jeong-won appeared as a guest on KBS 1TV's "Morning Stage."

That day, Choi Jeong-won mentioned that his mother had passed away two years ago, saying, "At that time, there were two musicals. For one of them, 'Hadestown,' I had no choice but to perform on the day my mother died. I briefly stopped by the funeral home and then continued with the performance."

He further shared, "Until the previous day, I had even changed her hospital gown and had dinner together, but she suddenly passed away. I couldn't believe it and cried so much."

Choi Jeong-won recalled, "I couldn't sleep until the morning of the day I had to perform twice because I was crying so hard that I thought my voice might not come out. But once I stepped onto the stage, I felt as light as if my body were flying."

He added, "As electricity flowed through my body, I felt like my mother was in the audience, and I finished the performance well. It is a stage I will never forget in my life."
