Rapper and actor Swing made remarks suggesting he is stepping back from his hip-hop roots.

On the 9th, Swing appeared on MBC's variety program 'Radio Star' following his start in acting.

That day, Swing stated that the film industry seems to suit him perfectly.

Swing said, "I've been running a music business for 18 years and have also been mentoring younger artists until now. But there was a point where I felt like I lived in a truly unique world." He added, "When having dinner with rappers, if someone suggested going to the second round, they would all get up at once and head home. When I asked where they were going, they said, 'We have to go to a club.'"

He also conveyed the contrasting atmosphere of the film industry. Swing remarked, "The vibe is incredibly harmonious. The hierarchy is very clear, and everyone sticks to their roles."

Swing explained, "I've thought about why this is: rappers can create music even at home. In movies, many people must work together harmoniously for several months. The culture is completely different."

He then expressed his satisfaction, saying, "Since joining the film industry, I feel treated with great respect. It's wonderful."

Swing also pointed out another difference between the hip-hop and film worlds. He said, "When I'm with rappers, I grill the meat. My personality is impatient, and I like giving things to younger ones. But when I started grilling in the acting world, they stopped me saying, 'Hyung, stay still. Why are you grilling?'"

He added, "To be honest, I don't meet with rappers much anymore because it hurts me," and then said, "I'm older. You guys play together," which drew laughter from the audience.
