MBC's 'Radio Star' has surpassed its own all-time record in terms of public discussion and buzz.

According to a survey conducted by Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, released on the 22nd covering the third week of September, Minami, a member of the group RESCENE who appeared on the episode aired on the 16th, ranked first in TV-OTT non-drama guest discussion and buzz. This marks the first time ever that a RESCENE member has topped this category since their debut.

Thanks to Minami's performance, the program 'Radio Star' itself saw a sharp rise in public discussion and buzz. Even amid heavy coverage of the Asian Games and a flood of major news events, the show broke its own 2026 record for highest discussion and buzz, demonstrating its strength as Wednesday night's leading talk show.

In the special episode titled "Nagoya-Ho! Asian Games" aired on the 16th, Minami made her first solo variety appearance. She captivated viewers with her candid and unfiltered storytelling, ranging from the "Geoje Yaho" meme that introduced her to K-pop idols' challenges, music streaming comebacks followed by a surge in advertisements, and increasingly packed schedules.

With its upward momentum, 'Radio Star' prepared even stronger humor for the Chuseok holiday. In this special episode, Sunwoo Yong-yeo, the original master of bold talk; Lee Dae-ho, known as Joseon's fourth batter with added variety charm; trot star Young-tak, who will heighten holiday excitement; and top comedian Kim Gyu-won will gather in one place to engage in a lively battle of witty banter designed to relieve holiday stress.

'Radio Star' airs every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.
