Actor Lee Joo-seung transformed into a film festival jury member.

In the episode of MBC's variety show 'I Live Alone' broadcast on the 6th, Lee Joo-seung was shown serving as a short film jury member.

On this day, Lee Joo-seung took out a laptop and a notebook in his home kitchen to prepare for watching short films.

Lee Joo-seung stated, "While also working as a short film director, I have received an opportunity to serve on a film festival jury. This time, at the Youth Film Festival, I will be participating as a jury member for the short film competition."

In response, the broadcast introduced Lee Joo-seung becoming a jury member following directors Park Chan-wook and Bong Joon-ho, eliciting laughter.

Lee Joo-seung explained, "There are 50 works. After watching them, I plan to discuss the award-winning pieces with other jury members." He added, "It is 50 works because it is the main round; for the preliminary screening, we watch over 1,000 works."

He further added, "I think I will have to watch about 8 films a day. Each film is 20 to 30 minutes long."

Upon hearing this, Koo Sung-hwan asked, "Don't you fast-forward?" Lee Joo-seung replied, "I shouldn't, right?" Code Kunst also chimed in with, "Hyung, do you fast-forward when eating tonkatsu?", bringing laughter.

As Lee Joo-seung began the serious judging process, he carefully wrote comments in his notebook while watching the works. He stated, "How immersively and intensely one shows their message through a short film," revealing his own evaluation criteria: "Typical jury standards are sincerity, originality, experimentation, and mise-en-scène."
