Actress Han Ga-in has preemptively put an end to suspicions of hidden advertising by emphasizing that her purchases were made with her own funds.

On the 15th, a video titled “From luxury goods to wedding jewelry, and domestic designer brands: First-ever reveal of the jewelry Han Ga-in has collected over 23 years (Not PPL)” was posted on the YouTube channel “Free Woman Han Ga-in.”

On that day, while introducing her jewelry, Han Ga-in stated, “This is bought with my own money. There is no PPL in here. Everything is something I purchased and have been keeping for a long time,” and attached receipts.

She then explained, “There are cases where I discover items because of sponsorships, thinking, ‘This is so pretty. Where is it from?’ If purchased through a stylist or someone else, they sometimes offer a 10% to 20% discount, but I often order directly from stores or online without that.”

She further emphasized, “Yeo Gi (CEO) may not even know what I am wearing. These are products I purchased and bought without any sponsorship.”

Previously, Han Ga-in had been embroiled in suspicions of hidden advertising. YouTuber Death Fox raised issues regarding the advertising method and efficacy of a “oral albumin” product last month, and controversy arose as Han Ga-in’s video was mentioned in the process.

In response, Han Ga-in denied the suspicions, stating, “I introduced products that I purchased and used directly without any compensation or sponsorship.” She further drew a line by saying, “There is no falsehood regarding whether it is an advertisement. It is our principle to label content as ‘Includes paid advertising’ and upload it when paid advertisements are involved.”
