Actress Ji Ye-eun is set to surprise her boyfriend and dancer Bata with a special show of support.

In Episode 420 of the MBC variety program “Omniscient Interfering Viewpoint,” airing on the 17th, WEDAMBOYS will take on the music video shoot for “CINEMA,” their first original track created specifically “to dance to,” marking a step beyond choreography production.

Prior to this, an unfiltered diss battle unfolds among WEDAMBOYS, a large crew whose members range in age from 20 to 34 and each possess distinct personalities. As leader In-gyu reviews the members’ social media posts, he unleashes a stream of criticism over what he finds incomprehensible MZ-generation sensibilities. The younger members counter by claiming that the “old-crew” seniors fail to understand their emotions. The bickering atmosphere eventually escalates into an impromptu dance battle between the seniors and juniors, heating up the practice room. It is reported that even the studio MCs were left astonished by the younger members’ extraordinary MZ energy, adding to the intrigue.

Following this, WEDAMBOYS begins intensive choreography practice ahead of the music video shoot for their first track, “CINEMA.” Having previously created only choreography for existing songs, the group is now releasing a WEDAMBOYS-exclusive original track designed “for dancing.” As serious practice commences, the atmosphere in the practice room shifts. Even the playful MZ-generation members approach the rehearsal with earnestness, drawing admiration. The two leaders, Bata and In-gyu, also lead the practice with exceptional synergy, enhancing the performance’s polish. Bata shows videos he filmed himself to the members to refine their movements, while In-gyu provides feedback on even the slightest differences in bounce. It is said that the overwhelming performance created by the 18th members is so intense that it is impossible to look away.

On the day of the music video shoot, a surprise support coffee truck from Bata’s “puppy” Ji Ye-eun arrives at the location. The members cheer and express their gratitude at the unexpected gift, enlivening the scene. Bata also responds by sending hearts toward his fiancée-to-be, Ji Ye-eun, revealing his unwavering “romantic” side and building anticipation.

Meanwhile, “Omniscient Interfering Viewpoint” airs every Saturday at 11 p.m.
