SBS's 'Our Ballad 2' is gaining momentum.

'Our Ballad 2,' in which SM C&C participates as a joint venture partner, has ranked first in ratings in the same time slot for three consecutive weeks since its premiere and placed in the top tier of Netflix variety shows. It has sparked a ballad syndrome, with cumulative views of stage videos surpassing 36 million.

In this season, participants with an average age of 17.9 years, who are even younger than before, reinterpret iconic ballads from different eras with their own sensibility and present them to the audience. It is widely praised that they continue to deliver moving performances each episode through their passion for music and sincere voices.

The eight 'Top Baek-gui' representatives empathized with the participants' stories as life mentors. At times, based on deep musical insight, they meticulously explained the direction of song selection and arrangement, vocal strengths, and emotional expression. Furthermore, their heartfelt advice goes beyond competition, encouraging participants to enjoy music together and supporting their dreams, thereby enhancing viewer engagement.

The emotional impact of the performances showcased by participants in each episode is resonating beyond the stage. When participant Park Ye-seung received the selection of all 150 Top Back Guys in the season's first instance by performing Maya's "Cry Out My Name," Dave Break's Lee Won-seok, who wrote and composed the song, said, "Hearing it with such a pure and powerful voice was so touching and moving. Thank you for singing it so well." Original artist Maya also mentioned "Our Ballad 2" on Instagram. Actors Yoo Seung-mok, Lee Hak-joo, and Han Jeong-wan are also sharing videos of participants through SNS and sending heartfelt support.

'Our Ballad 2' airs every Monday night at 10 p.m.
