Everland's fourth baby panda, "Shubao," will be fully opened to general visitors at Panda World starting on the 30th. This comes approximately five months after its birth on June 3 between mother Aibao and father Lubao. Accordingly, from the 30th until December 11, visitors to Everland will be able to meet the entire family, including Lubao, Aibao, their twin daughters Ruibao and Huibao, and the youngest, Shubao.

Shubao, which weighed only 171 grams at birth, is currently growing healthily, having surpassed a weight of 9 kilograms. Recently, it has begun walking on all fours and is showing active behavior by exploring its surroundings near its mother. Everland officials said they are conducting staged preliminary surveys and adaptation processes, such as allowing Shubao to familiarize itself with the terrain and scents in an enclosure without visitors, ahead of its first outing.

Chief Keeper (keeper) Kang Cheol-won stated, "Shubao is relying on its mother while also expanding its world on its own," adding, "We hope you will cheer for Shubao's outing, which is full of charm." Previously, to mark its 100th day of life, Shubao received its name through a national public solicitation and voting process involving approximately 220,000 participants. The name means "a treasure as bright as the dawn light." Everland plans to gradually expand viewing hours and visitor capacity for the time being to ensure Shubao's stable adaptation.

Meanwhile, Shubao's twin sisters, Ruibao and Huibao, will enter quarantine procedures in preparation for their transfer to China. They are scheduled to begin formal quarantine procedures on the 13th of next month, with December 11 set as their last day of general public viewing at Everland.
