Hanwha Resort Seorak Seorano is introducing an experience program for families to enjoy with their children in celebration of the autumn season.

According to the "2025 National Travel Survey" released by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Foundation for Tourism Research, the proportion of trips lasting one night or more rose by 1.3 percentage points year-on-year to 41.3%. During the same period, the number of travel days in the Gangwon region increased by 10.6%. In response to the growing demand for stay-and-enjoy travel, Seorak Seorano has prepared a program that combines Gangwon's specialty potatoes with English missions for children.

The free English program prepared for customers traveling with their children is notable for its six sessions. As native-speaking instructors accompany the participants without parental supervision, the capacity for each session is set at 16 people. Participants carry exploration kits and baskets to complete missions such as "Completing an Order in English" and "Finding Clues."

"Potato Day" is a family participation event where attendees enjoy various games while roasting potatoes over a campfire. Guests are given one colored potato per person for free.

This event was hosted by the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy Innovation with the aim of promoting regional startups and tourism.

A representative from Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, who spoke by phone with Bora, stated, "Last year, in partnership with the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy Innovation, we followed up on AI-based fragrance creation, media art, and sleep package development by preparing experiences that family customers can enjoy."
