'Odyssey' and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' have taken over the theaters.

According to the integrated computer network of the Korean Film Council on the 9th, 'Odyssey' drew 525,336 viewers the previous day, securing the number one spot in box office rankings. The cumulative audience count stands at 1,376,787.

'Odyssey' surpassed one million viewers on its fourth day of release, a speed one day faster than Christopher Nolan's previous film and seven-time Academy Award winner 'Oppenheimer.'

Notably, 'Odyssey' has maintained the top spot in overall ticket sales with an CGV Egg Index of 97% and a Naver rating of 9.4, reflecting strong praise from actual viewers since its release, drawing further attention to its future box office performance.

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' drew 513,897 viewers, securing the second spot in box office rankings. The gap between it and the number one 'Odyssey' is a mere 11,439 viewers.

With a cumulative audience of 5,447,888, this achievement comes seven days faster than this year's first ten-million-viewer film, 'The Man Who Lives with the King,' which reached that milestone on its 18th day. This has sparked anticipation over whether 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' will also cross the ten-million-viewer mark.

As 'Odyssey' and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' dominate the theaters, 'Love Chupping: The Legend of the Whale Jewel' gathered 124,125 viewers to claim third place. 'Hope' drew 37,770 viewers, holding fourth place with a cumulative audience of 4,361,541.
