Group i-dle (Idle) Yuqi has proven its unrivaled influence in Greater China.

Yuqi was recently selected as the "WOMEN OF THE YEAR IN MUSIC 2026" released by Tencent Music in China.

Under the theme of "There is 她在场 Where She Is," Yuqi was named one of the leading female artists on the Tencent Music Platform and in the Chinese music market in 2025.

Tencent Music cited "won 气" as a keyword symbolizing the rainy season and said, "He participated in writing and composing the entire first single 'MOTIVATION' last year and showed his talent as a next-generation female singer-songwriter. The title song 'M.O.' not only topped Korea, but also achieved outstanding performance in China."

The influence of the rainy season has been proven by figures. Yu Gi won 147 entries into Tencent Music's Korean chart and 122 entries into TOP20, as well as the 2025 Tencent Music Korean Chart Singer of the Year, Solo Singer of the Year, Song of the Year ('FREAK') and EP/Single of the Year ('Motivation').

Yuqi's solo songs "Radio (Dum-Dum)" and "FREAK" both won Tencent Music Gold certification. In particular, the digital single "Radio (Dum-Dum)" released in March last year recorded the top 10 for 50 consecutive weeks since its release on Tencent Music's Korean chart, and is currently continuing its long-term success by breaking records every week.

In addition, Yuqi recently attracted attention by singing the theme song 'Magic Together' to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Shanghai Disneyland.

The children (Mi-yeon, Min-ni, Soyeon, Yu-ki, and Shuhua) to which Yu-ki belongs held "2026 i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation] IN TAIPEI" at Taipei Dome in Taipei on the 7th and met with local fans. The K-pop girl group, which performed at the Taipei Dome, received an explosive response as children were the first to sell out all tickets immediately after the opening of the ticket reservation.
