Rapper BewhY is firing the starting gun for a full-scale comeback with the release of his first regular album in about seven years.

BewhY will exclusively reveal the audio and music video for his new song 'SOUTHSIDE FREESTYLE' through major online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 8th.

This single is a track serving as a preview for fans who have waited a long time for BewhY's musical narrative, and it is included in his upcoming third regular album 'POP IS CRYIN'', scheduled for release on the 29th.

In particular, this new song is drawing industry attention as it is the first work presented after the announcement of the termination of Dejavu Group, the label operated by BewhY himself.

The lyrics fully reflect BewhY's honest emotional changes, including the period as a manager, the reconstruction as an artist, and the sense of responsibility as a head of household.

This comeback marks a regular album project presented for the first time in seven years since his second regular album 'The Movie Star' was released in 2019. During the preceding gap, BewhY will express his anguish and introspection in the intense style of 'SOUTHSIDE FREESTYLE', showcasing a musical spectrum of 'BewhY 2.0' that is distinctly different from before.

A representative of BewhY stated, "This single will be a key to understanding the organic narrative of the third regular album," and added, "Please look forward to seeing BewhY's true colors as he returns from being an operator to his original form as an artist."
