BTS Jimin has captivated fans by setting Mexico City ablaze.

On May 8 (local time), Jimin captivated audiences with a flawless performance at the first day of the 'BTS World Tour 'Arirang' in Mexico City' held at Estadio GNP Seguros.

Having drawn attention with an atmosphere reminiscent of a prince from a movie during his meeting with the Mexican president on the 7th, Jimin dominated the stage at the concert by exuding rock star charm. In particular, he delivered a fantastic performance befitting a 'master of his craft,' heating up the stadium with a surprise abs reveal midway through the show.

At the end of the concert, Jimin delivered a pre-prepared greeting in Spanish, eliciting a huge cheer. Having previously moved fans by reading a letter in Japanese during his Japan concerts, Jimin conveyed his sincerity to fans in the language of the host country, offering the joy characteristic of a world tour.

According to a May 7 Forbes article, Jimin has recorded over 97 million streams on the Mexico Spotify chart, the highest among K-pop solo artists. He is enjoying immense popularity locally, ranking second only to BTS among all K-pop acts.

To support Jimin's Mexico concert, which showcases his unparalleled status both as a group member and as a solo artist, fans organized a support campaign. Ad trucks covered with Jimin's advertisements circulated around the stadium where the concert was held, and photos and videos of the event were shared on social media, generating buzz.

Meanwhile, BTS, to which Jimin belongs, concluded its first day of performances in Mexico City, took a one-day break, and will continue the intense concert atmosphere over two days on the 10th and 11th.
