Young K of the band DAY6 is making a solo comeback after two years and ten months.

JYP Entertainment announced on the 6th via DAY6's official SNS channels that Young K will release his new album 'YOUNGEST'.

The released teaser image features Young K's facial features scattered across shards of broken glass, heightening curiosity about the concept of the new album. A key inscribed with "YK" placed on one side evokes anticipation for new songs that will open listeners' hearts with his vocals and musical color.

The new album 'YOUNGEST' holds special significance as it is Young K's second regular album, which consolidates his capabilities as a solo musician, released approximately two years and ten months after his first regular album 'Letters with notes' in September 2023. Since debuting with DAY6 in September 2015, he has consistently participated in songwriting and composition, including vocals and instrumental performance, creating numerous hit songs such as 'Congratulations', 'You Were Beautiful', and 'So That I Can Become a Page'. He is expected to realize his own musical world through this new solo album.

Meanwhile, Young K's second regular solo album 'YOUNGEST' will be officially released at 6 p.m. on the 27th.
