DAY6 member Young K demonstrates his deepened musical capabilities.

Young K will release his second full-length album 'YOUNGEST' and its title track 'Shut The Door' at 6 p.m. on the 27th.

Having expressed the emotional range and various fragments encountered in life with honest, everyday language, Young K has been building anticipation for his comeback through solo album teaser content. On the 20th, he revealed the detailed schedule for his upcoming solo tour 'Young K Solo Tour < YOUNGEST >' on DAY6's official SNS channel.

According to the schedule, Young K will hold nine solo concerts across seven domestic and international locations, starting with Incheon Inspire Arena from August 14 to 16. The tour will continue with stops in Bangkok on October 10, Taipei on November 29, Hong Kong on January 15, 2027, Singapore on the 23rd, Manila on February 20, and Kuala Lumpur on March 20. From 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the 20th, a fan club presale for the Incheon solo concert will be held via NOL Ticket exclusively for members of the 6th generation of My Day (the fandom name).

On the 19th, JYP Entertainment added lyric spoilers to preview the lyrics for '100 Reasons We Break Up (with JINJOO of DNCE)' and 'Fog Flower' from the new album. On the 20th, they further unveiled the lyrics for 'Yonge St.' and 'whatever,' raising expectations. The video for track 9, '100 Reasons We Break Up (with JINJOO of DNCE),' begins with a scene of answering a phone call and features realistic yet melancholic lyrics: "The jokes I used to laugh at now get no expression from you; the feeling that we fit perfectly has vanished. There are 100 reasons why we break up." In track 14, 'Fog Flower,' the artist introduces the song by reciting a poignant line written on a postcard while holding a bouquet: "Like white-blooming fog flowers, memories bloom in full; tonight I look at each one and recall you."

Track 7, 'Yonge St.,' features witty and free-spirited lyrics as the artist pulls a letter from a mailbox: "Every day was a spark that lit our eyes / Gamjatang then noraebang all night / Roamin' through the streets and lights / Beautiful days eh." Track 11, 'whatever,' conveys clever and cool lyrics by repeatedly showing the act of rebuilding a collapsed Jenga tower: "If we succeed, great; if not, it doesn't matter. In the end, what remains is One more episode."

On the afternoon of the 19th, a live album sampler featuring Young K singing 'Marionette,' 'Drivin' into Hell,' '100 Reasons We Break Up (with JINJOO of DNCE),' and 'Fog Flower' was released. The video captures him moving around various parts of an underground office space, lending his melodious voice to the four tracks. Whether he appears like a puppet, exhausted from fatigue, or calmly singing while gazing at fog flowers placed on a desk, the scenes captured in the video evoke the message and atmosphere of the new songs.
