Singer Nam Yu-jeong, formerly of Brave Girls, is returning with her first solo album since debut.

On the 6th, her agency RND Company announced that Nam Yu-jeong will release her first solo album in August and begin activities.

Prior to the official teasing, Nam Yu-jeong also shared news of the album preparation directly in the first episode of the fake documentary content "Nam Yu-jeong Wants to Be in Love," which was released through her official YouTube channel on the 5th, saying, "I am finally releasing my first solo album."

This album is a remake album where familiar songs for the public are sung again with Nam Yu-jeong's unique color. Nam Yu-jeong stated, "They were songs I also loved very much," and added, "When I said I prepared these songs for a stage like a festival, I just hope many people will like them; that is all my ambition."

Along with the news of her solo debut, "Nam Yu-jeong Wants to Be in Love" was opened. It is a five-part documentary planned on the point that all the album's title tracks are love songs, capturing the process of 'human Nam Yu-jeong' searching for true love in the form of a fake documentary.

Nam Yu-jeong, who is preparing an album under her own name for the first time since debut, is set to appear at 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026' on the 22nd.

"Nam Yu-jeong Wants to Be in Love" will be released sequentially through the official YouTube channel, and content related to the solo album will also be opened one by one on her official SNS channels.
