Singer Park Woo-jin exuded a family-like atmosphere with his former boy group Wanna One.

A showcase commemorating the release of Park Woo-jin's second mini-album 'Solstice (SOLSTICE)' was held on the 13th at X-Cala in Hyeohyeon-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.

On this day, when asked what kind of support he received from Wanna One members for his long-awaited solo comeback, Park Woo-jin said, "Not that many members did it," but added, "It just came to mind now. I saw Ji-sung's hyung talking about me on the radio yesterday."

He stated, "He mentioned my comeback and gave me praise. He recommended something. I don't remember it well. I probably wasn't paying close attention. Still, I felt good that he congratulated me on my comeback. Truly like a leader," revealing special affection for Yoon Ji-sung.

The question followed: "If Wanna One members had offered congratulations, what kind of support would they have given?" However, Park Woo-jin laughed and said, "We do it among guys too, and since we are so close, I think we connect on a spiritual level."

Park Woo-jin debuted as a member of the boy group Wanna One, which launched from Mnet's 'Produce 101' Season 2 in August 2017. After his contract ended, he returned to his original agency, Brand New Music, and re-debuted as a member of AB6IX in May 2019.

However, his contract with Brand New Music also ended in May 2026, and the group was effectively disbanded as most members transferred to other agencies. Park Woo-jin signed with Para Music last June. Para Music is a label under Brand New Music.

'Solstice' will be released at 6 p.m. on the 13th through various online music streaming sites.
