The Kiwoom Heroes, aiming to build the league's strongest starting rotation next season with An Woo-jin and Ha Hyun-seung at the forefront, will hold a closing camp in Taiwan.

This closing camp will be attended by Manager Seol Jong-jin, the coaching staff, and 45 players.

The team will depart for Taoyuan, Taiwan, on China Airlines flight CI161 departing from Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport at 12:30 p.m. on the 5th.

The team will participate in the 2026 Asia Pro Baseball Exchange Games and the Asia Winter Baseball League. They plan to sharpen their game sense through live matches and evaluate each player's skills and areas for improvement.

First, they will take part in the 2026 Asia Pro Baseball Exchange Games, held at Rakuten Taoyuan Stadium from the 6th to the 7th. Now in its second year, this tournament is hosted by the Taoyuan City Government of Taiwan to promote baseball cultural exchange and boost sports tourism among South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

Three teams will participate: Kiwoom, Taiwan's Rakuten Monkeys, and Japan's Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles.

Kiwoom will face the Rakuten Monkeys at Rakuten Taoyuan Stadium on the 7th.

A fan signing session with players An Woo-jin, Lee Ju-hyung, and Kim Geon-hee will be held before the game. The Kiwoom cheering squad will also be present to showcase KBO League cheering culture.

After completing the exchange games schedule, the team will conduct training at Kaohsiung Guojing Qingpu Stadium before participating in the Asia Winter Baseball League starting on the 14th.

They will play a total of 14 games against teams including the Taiwan Pro Baseball All-Stars, Japan Pro Baseball All-Stars, Japan Amateur All-Stars, and Taiwan University All-Stars at venues such as the Tainan Asia-Pacific International Baseball Training Center and Zai Municipal Stadium.

Eleven 2027 rookie and development players, including Ha Hyun-seung, will also participate in this closing camp. As it will be their first official training since joining the professional ranks, the plan is to focus on adapting to professional training routines and evaluating individual skills.

Jang Jae-young, Lee Seung-won, and Lee Jong-min, who are completing their military service at the Military Baseball Team, will join the team on Friday, the 13th. An Woo-jin, Lee Ju-hyung, and Kim Geon-hee will return home after only participating in the exchange games schedule to continue individual training domestically.

The team will return to South Korea on China Airlines flight CI164 arriving at Terminal 2 of Incheon International Airport at 10:55 a.m. on the 30th.
